The Style Edit: Fashion Trends

1. Elevated Minimalism

Clean lines, neutral tones, and timeless silhouettes dominate this season. Think tailored trousers, crisp white shirts, and structured blazers paired with understated accessories. The focus is on quality fabrics and impeccable fit.

2. Asymmetrical side emphasis

The strongest trend in autumn/winter is an asymmetrical side emphasis on dresses, jackets, and skirts, creating a new look for daywear and eveningwear in 2026. Reimagine the classics with asymmetrical shoulder ties, side-overlap skirts, and draped off-the-shoulder designs, including side-focused draped tops, skirts, and trousers.

3. Statement Outerwear

Bold coats are taking centre stage. Oversized trenches, faux-fur jackets, and leather bombers in vibrant hues or textured finishes add instant personality to any outfit. Layering remains key for both warmth and style.

4. Metallic Moments

Shimmering fabrics and metallic accents are making a comeback. From silver skirts to gold handbags, these pieces bring a futuristic edge to everyday looks. Pair metallics with matte textures for balance.

5. Retro Revival

Nostalgia continues with cargo pants, decorative lace trimmings, and corsetry details. Meanwhile, ‘70s-inspired flared trousers and earthy tones offer a more grounded take on vintage fashion. Classic black leggings return to team with large collared coats.

6. Power Accessories

Chunky jewellery, oversized sunglasses, and statement belts are redefining the proportions of outfits. Accessories are no longer afterthoughts—they’re the focal point of the look.

7. Sustainable Style

Eco-conscious fashion remains a top priority. Expect to see more recycled materials, upcycled designs, and capsule wardrobes built around longevity rather than fast trends.

8. Colour Forecast

Core colours meet muted neutrals this season. Burgundy, green and orange are standout shades, offering both calm and confidence in equal measure.

Focus on rich autumn hues of deep maroon, berry burgundy, chocolate brown, caramel, and emerald green. Contrast these core colours with light neutrals, such as light beige and mid greys.

And, of course, incorporate Pantone's Colour of the Year 2026: Cloud Dancer in the season’s fashion statement.

9. Trend Tip

Mix classic staples with one or two statement pieces to stay current without overhauling the entire wardrobe.
